Offprint Paris, a platform dedicated to contemporary photography and image making. A meeting place for artists, photographers, graphic designers, curators, artistic directors e.a. Offprint focuses on high-end and emerging practices, offering a unique selection of artist’s books, magazines, prints and zines

From September 2010 until August 2022 I will take every year another month to make every day a new Book. In September 2010 I searched and decided every morning on a special photographic theme, which I followed throughout the day. For  October 2011 I have chosen ‘Money’ as an main theme.  I look at the different aspects of this medium of exchange and it’s role in our today’s society. On blurb.com you’ll get the chance to order the books. They’re full color digital printed, 18×18 cm with minimal 20 and maximal 40 pages and with a soft cover.
Either you can order your favorite book on Blurb’s webside directly, or if you want me to control and sign the books you can order a set of 31 books in a box for 650 Euros. If you want ‘October’ in a box, then send me an e-mail and you’ll get it in December 2011.

Printed Matter is pleased to announce the opening of ABC Artists’ Books Cooperative, a new exhibition surveying work from members of the print-on-demand collective ABC. The group, established in 2009 by Joachim Schmid, is a growing network of artists committed to the production and distribution of artists’ books through Print on Demand technology. The exhibition is open June 2nd – June 30th, 2011.

Please join us Thursday, June 16, 5-7 PM for a reception and short conversation with group members David Schulz and Hermann Zschiegner, along with Bruno Ceschel (Self Publish, Be Happy), discussing the creative and productive implications of self-publishing and PoD distribution. Printed Matter is located at 195 Tenth Ave, between 21st and 22nd street in New York.

ABC Artists Books Cooperative will participate in the 4th International Photobook Festival 1 – 5 June, 2011, Kassel, documenta-Halle. I will be there from Thursday till Sunday, come over!
